The Living Water
The Living Water
While reading John
4, I wanted to write about the Living water and to answer three questions, why
would the all mighty God ask us to do something for him, If we want to be
wise then what shall we ask for and what do we really have to offer people around
us. |
Why would God
ask you to do something hard? Sometimes we feel overwhelmed because God is asking us to do
something hard, or to give away something valuable. When this happens, it is
important to remember this heavenly secret; what you are doing or giving is
not to compare to what God can do or give to you. In this situation I pray
that your eyes will be opened to understand the Grace of God and the gift we
are given when He asks us. Because then we can ask and receive the Living
Water. The Comforter, The Counselor, The Teacher, The Helper, The Strengthener
and The Intercessor. With Him and through Him we can surly satisfy the
desires of God’s heart. When God asks you to do something what He is really
saying is: let me help you do this thing or give away something, almost never
will God ask you to do something without offering his help. It is God’s way
to offer himself. So always take advantage of his help and seek his Living
water. We always need the Living Water to clean our wicked hearts and to give
us new thoughts above our thoughts. What are we
asking for? We
can discuss endlessly what is our basic needs. What we really want? You might
have started making up your list but I am praying that as a believer you will
live with a new perception. Simply we are not in need. We should never be thirsty.
Instead we are a source of the living water. The divine plan is for us to
take from God and give others. In our need we only have one source, one
destination, and one request; The living Water. When we receive the living
water, we become a source. We overflow and give eternal life. Don’t allow
yourself to dry up. Whenever you need something know that God is leading you
to the living Water. Ask because our faithful heavenly Father gives the Holy
Spirit to those who ask. What do we have
to offer? Let
the Water flow. We are invited to share the living water, not to keep it for
ourselves. It is part of the nature of the water stream, it flows and over
flows, you can’t store it in lake or slow it down. It also pushes the rocks
that stop in its way and it cleans what it runs through. Give freely as you
have received freely. |
